Silicon Valley Research Releases Jet(TM) on e*ECAD

SAN JOSE, Calif., Sept. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Silicon Valley Research, Inc. (``SVR'' or the ``Company'') (OTC Bulletin Board: SVRI), a leading provider of affordable Auto Place and Route (``APR'') products, announced today that it has released another one of its EDA tools on e*ECAD. Jet, a graphical interactive tool for the manual creation, editing and viewing of layout data, is now available on e*ECAD's Web service on a pay-per-use basis.

``The Jet layout suite, which has sold over 1000 seats, is still in use today by designers around the world,'' said SVR's Director of Sales and Marketing, Ian Benouis. ``Jet is the last of our legacy products to be released through e*ECAD making additional seats easily accessible and affordable to existing users while freeing up the SVR sales force to concentrate on increasing sales of next generation products like QICROUTE-VDSM.''

Jet's capabilities include hierarchical layout, logical layer operations, support for real circles and hierarchical edit-in-place. Jet's powerful support of non-rectangular objects also makes it a popular solution for MEMS designs. Jet can read and write GDSII stream files. A compiled Jet Macro Language capability is also included with the base product. The Hunter on-line DRC system that works with Jet is also available. Jet is compatible with its predecessor product, Princess and runs on the latest versions of Solaris.

The distribution and pricing model offered by e*ECAD allows SVR customers to download, install and run the tools they need and only be charged for the actual usage time, which can be billed in .01 second increments. The tools are available to download on e*ECAD's website, www.eecad.com.

The Company currently offers GARDS(TM) and SC(TM) on e*ECAD and plans to release more products on e*ECAD in the future.
